We have a range of new insoles in stock at ProPodiatry! These are known as ‘prefab’ or ‘off-the-shelf’ insoles – they are premolded and designed to fit almost all feet. They can help with a lot of common causes of foot pain, and also help with alignment that may lead to pain in ankles, knees, hips, and lower back.
We sell these insoles in addition to our already existing range of FootBalance insoles, which are custom insoles that are bespoke and made just for you. We are still providing the FootBalance range, however we felt that there was a need for a range of alternative insoles.
The benefit of prefab insoles is that they do not require individual tailoring, so can go straight from the box into your shoes. They can be easily modified in our clinic to better suit your needs, but often require no adjustment.
The insoles that we have stocked are Slimflex Comfort, PowerStep, and the Salford Insole. These are selected as they suit a wide range of feet and foot problems, and there is a good amount of research to support their use.
